Michele Gillen will serve as emcee for the “Wild about Kids” Gala.
Michele Gillen will serve as emcee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade "Wild about Kids" Gala. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception, sponsored by Bacardi, silent auction and piano music by Isaac Rodriguez; followed by dinner at 8 pm. There will be live music by the band Private Stock, dancing; and a special performance by children from Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. Guests will have the opportunity to sponsor a child through $250 donations, with all proceeds benefiting the five clubs in the Miami-Dade area. Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will honor the Florida Marlins for their outstanding commitment to our youth, the community and the Clubs. The award will be accepted by Mr. Marlins himself, Jeff Conine, a player of the inaugural season, as well as the 1997 and 2003 World Series Marlin's championship teams.
