Bo Diddley In Florida Hospital After Heart Attack

GAINESVILLE (CBS4) ― Singer Bo Diddley is in a Florida hospital after suffering a heart attack during a routine medical checkup on Friday.

His publicist says Diddley was having a regularly scheduled doctor visit when he complained of dizziness and nausea. He was immediately taken to the emergency room at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville where he suffered a heart attack.

Diddley had an operation and was fitted with a stent to help blood flow to his heart. He was moved Tuesday morning from intensive care to cardiac care and is listed in stable condition.

Diddley suffered a stroke last May.
