NBA In Finals, As Dwyane Wade Works In Rehab

MIAMI (CBS4) ― A year ago, Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade was getting ready to win his first championship. These days, he's recuperating from last months' surgery: tendinitis in his left knee and surgery to correct a dislocated shoulder.

The MVP of last season's NBA finals is beginning to recover from surgeries he had on the same day, yet it's still anyone's guess when the All-Star will be back to normal.

While the knee pain that limited him in the playoffs left Wade with no choice but surgery, he had the option of continuing with rehabilitation on the left shoulder he dislocated at midseason.

The team said no recovery timetable has been established, but coach Pat Riley said recently it is possible Wade not only would miss the Oct. 2 start of training camp but also the Oct. 30 start of the 2007-08 regular season.
