Bryan Pata Murder Reward Money Increased Again
(CBS4)
As they still search for clues, Miami-Dade Police have raised the reward money being offered for information on Bryan Pata's murder.
Police are offering $21,000 for anyone who comes forward with information that leads to the capture of the suspect responsible. The announcement was made Tuesday by the department's homicide bureau and Crimestoppers, and it's the second time that the reward money in his case is raised. Pata, a UM Football player, was fatally shot on November 7, 2006, after arriving at his apartment complex located at 9315 SW 77th Avenue in Kendall. He had just gotten out of practice.
Police also carried out a reenactment of the crime for TV media, in hopes that someone might come forward with clues.
Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to call Crimestoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477) or toll free at 1-866-471-TIPS (8477). The calls are completely anonymous, and if the information provided leads to the arrest and filing of criminal charges against the offender(s).
