MIAMI (CBS4) ― Grab a friend and bring your appetite as South Florida's mouth-watering summer restaurant promotion event, "Miami Spice" begins Wednesday.

The annual culinary event provides diners the opportunity to savor delicious, specially priced three-course meals at some of the area's top restaurants at reduced prices.

During August and September, more than 80 of Miami's top restaurants will offer three-course meals featuring signature dishes created by world-renowned chefs.

Organized by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau for the sixth consecutive year, Miami Spice features the city's top restaurants offering special lunch menus for $22 and special dinner menus for $35.

Each restaurant will include an appetizer, entree and dessert as part of the fixed price.
