Defense Of Accused Child Killer Case Faces Hurdle

Father Of Middle School Murder Suspect Testifies

MIAMI (CBS4) ― The chances of defending accused child Killer Michael Hernandez just got much slimmer, after a judge denied every motion to suppress evidence in his case.

Judge John Schlesinger has denied every motion for Hernandez's defense to suppress all the statements made to police, including his confession where he described how he allegedly killed 14-year-old classmate Jaime Gough at Southwood Middle School in Palmetto Bay.

Other pieces of evidence that the prosecution might be using in their case are Hernandez's bookbag, his journal and computer.

If convicted he could face life in prison.
