A Broward County judge has ordered the three teens, charged with the January 2006 killing of a Ft. Lauderdale homeless man and the beating of two other, to appear in a police lineup.
According to our news partner,
The Miami Herald, Assistant State Attorney Brian Cavanagh said the lineup is to quell allegations that the teens participated in other attacks against involving homeless people.
The motion was granted Friday morning by Broward Circuit Judge, Cynthia Imperato and it allows the teens' attorneys to be present during the lineup.
19-year-old Billy Ammons, 18-year-old Thomas Daugherty, and 19-year-old Brian Hooks have all been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 49-year-old Norris Gaynor.
Officials say the three also face attempted-murder charges in assaults on two other homeless men who lived on the streets of Fort Lauderdale.
