Va. Tech Shooter Mailed Manifesto Before Rampage

(CBS4) The Samaha family thought they had escaped danger when they were rescued out of Lebanon last year when a war broke out in their country, but in light of the Virginia Tech massacre, this South Florida family is mourning the death of their cousin.

Reema Samaha was described as a lively young woman with big aspirations, but they were cut short when she became a victim in the Virginia Tech massacre. Her cousins in South Florida are now mourning her death.

"She was into theater, dancing, very outgoing, lots of energy," said Pierre Samaha. "When you were around her it was a positive mode. She was absolutely adorable."

Samaha was shot by Cho Seung-Hui during French class at Virginia Tech. She graduated from Westfield High in 2006, which is the same school the killer went to but there was no immediate word from authorities on whether Cho knew the young woman and singled her out.
