MIAMI (CBS4) ― Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal is now at the center of a divorce from his wife of nearly five years.

According to documents filed in Miami court Tuesday, the marriage between Shaq and Shaunie is irretrievably broken.

The couple has four children together and live in a nearly 420-million dollar home on exclusive Star Island. They were married in Beverly Hills in 2002 while Shaq was playing for the Lakers. They have a confidential prenuptial agreement.

The Heat center makes $20-million dollars a year and has three years left on a five-year contract worth $100-million dollars.

According to court documents, Shaunie should be given primary custody of the children, while Shaq should get liberal visitation rights.

Celebrity photographer Seth Browarnik told CBS4's Lisa Petrillo, "I did not know about it. But I think we should respect him. His personal business is his personal business."
