Bo Diddley Returns To Florida To Fight Stroke
78-Year-Old Singer Fell Ill Wile Performing

GAINESVILLE (CBS) ―
R-and-B legend Bo Diddley has returned to Florida as he continues to recover from a stroke suffered earlier this year whiel performing at a casino in Iowa.
The publicist for the 78-year-old singer-guitarist said he traveled from Council Bluff, Iowa to Gainesville and was admitted at Shands Rehab Hospital near his hometown of Archer.
A hospital spokeswoman would not confirm his admittance or give his condition today.
Diddley has been an icon in the music industry since he topped the R-and-B charts with "Bo Diddley" in 1955. His other hits include "Who Do You Love," "Before You Accuse Me," "Mona" and "I'm a Man."
