Miami Fashion Week Kicks Off

In its fifth year, producers of Fashion Week Miami announced their Fall/Winter 2007 runway shows beginning Wednesday; it's a four-day event providing an intelligent, innovative platform for progressive, established, and emerging designers to showcase their collections to media, celebrities, international buyers, and select style makers.
The shows this year will be geared towards designer diffusion collections and innovative lifestyle brands. Designers will integrate music into their shows, many personally selecting their favorite celebrity DJs to preside over their runway spectacles.
The two locations for collections will be the Moore Building in Miami's Design District, and the second location will be an assortment of tents built directly on the sands of Miami Beach.
The Design District will host the first two nights, and Miami Beach at 11th and Ocean Drive will be the next two.
