Dolphins' Green: I'm Ready To Come Back And Play
jm
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
Miami Dolphins quarterback Trent Green says things are looking good for his return to the field.
Speaking on his weekly radio show today on WQAM-AM, Green said all test results so far have been normal. He said he has more tests scheduled Tuesday.
Right now, Green said, his mind-set is to come back and play.
The 37-year-old Green has been sidelined since he suffered a concussion during the October 7th game against Houston. He was carted away and taken to a hospital and has since undergone tests in Kansas City and South Florida.
On the show, Green said the affects of the injury weren't as severe as many had expected. Green said he had no memory loss, dizziness, headaches, or balancing problems 24 hours after being knocked unconscious. But because the concussion determined to be a Grade 3, Green said he was required to sit out of practice last week because of new NFL guidelines.
Coach Cam Cameron has not said if or when Green will be put back onto the field.
