Police: NY Woman's Disappearance Is 'Suspicious'

MIAMI DADE (CBS4) ― Miami Dade police are now saying the disappearance of a 22-year old honors student from New York over the Memorial Day weekend is "suspicious" and "out of character."

Stepha Henry was last seen leaving her aunt's home on 191st Street near 15th Avenue, and getting into a black sedan with a man her relative's didn't recognize. She told relatives she was going to a club. Customers at Pepper's Café told police they remember someone matching Henry's description at the club, but have no idea what happened to her.

Henry, an honors graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice of New York, was employed by the university in the enrollment office. Miami Dade police said "foul play" is now being considered in her disappearance.

Anyone with information on Henry's whereabouts is asked to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-8477.
