Woman Charged With Groping Santa At Mall

DANBURY, Conn. (CBS4) ― One Connecticut woman is most likely on Santa's naughty list. Police have charged Sandrama Lamy with groping a mall Santa while sitting on his lap.

Police aren't providing the real name of Ol' Saint Nick. But officers say the 65-year-old man felt badly because kids were waiting to see him.

Danbury police Captain Bob Myles says Santa was "apparently shocked and embarrassed" by the incident.
 
Lamy, a former mall employee, is now charged with 4th degree sexual assault and breach of peace which are both misdemeanors. A woman who returned a call placed to Lamy for comment said it's a -- quote -- "false report."
