Gables Driveway Robbery Is Caught On Tape

CORAL GABLES (CBS4) ― Coral Gables Police is looking for an armed robbery of a resident in her driveway Friday afternoon.

Police says it happened at 1528 Palermo Avenue at 2:48 p.m. where a woman was apparently followed home by two men who robbed her at gunpoint of her personal belongings. Her two children ages four and five, were in the backseat of her vehicle while the robbery was occurring.

Police described the armed man as a dark skinned Latin male in his early 20s, with short black hair, wearing a white baseball cap, light blue shirt, and blue jean shorts. The second man, who was the passenger in the subject vehicle, was described as a heavyset Latin male with a mustache. They were in a small 4-door compact vehicle similar to a Toyota Corolla.

No one was injured in the robbery.
