Vote On Marlins Stadium Construction Delayed

MIAMI (CBS4) ― The Braman lawsuit isn't the only thing holding up the new Marlins Stadium in Miami, but the commission as well has stalled in voting on two contracts needed to start its construction.

Thursday night the Miami-Dade Commission did not vote on the two key contracts that are needed to break ground. The votes were supposed to have taken place by July 1st, but will now wait until September. That is when the commissioners return from summer break. This delay could push back the stadium opening.
