Weston Boy Clings To Life After Falling In Pool

WESTON (CBS4) ― Doctors are working to keep a Weston boy alive after he nearly drowned in a family pool Monday night.

BSO Fire was called out to the near drowning at 16930 SW 5 Street regarding a one-year-old boy who had fallen into the family pool. The neighbor saw what was happening and ran to rescue the boy. After pulling him out of the water, the neighbor started performing CPR him while rescue arrived.

Paramedics transported the boy to Cleveland Clinic in extremely critical condition. He was supposed to be transferred to another local hospital by air rescue once he was stabilized, but as they were about to transfer him, his condition took a turn for the worse.

He was taken back inside Cleveland Clinic's emergency room where doctors are working on him.
