CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) ―
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney isn't impressed by the Tigers' first appearance in Top 25 during his young tenure. He is more focused on making sure his team continues to show the mental and physical toughness that got them to No. 24 on Sunday.
Swinney was proud of his Tigers (6-3, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) for their 40-24 victory over Florida State on Saturday that put them in control of the league's Atlantic Division.
Clemson holds the tiebreaker over Boston College, the only other division team with as few as two losses. Victories at North Carolina State and Virginia would send the Tigers to their first conference championship game.
Swinney, in his first full season as coach, is much more interested about where Clemson winds up after the season.
